Big news on Fulham’s contract offer to Diego Rolan

The transfer saga with Diego Rolan has been going on for far too long now and it looks like Fulham may have found a solution to Diego Rolan’s demands.

A source close to the club today has told us about the contract that Fulham have offered to Rolan. According to our source Fulham have offered Rolan a 1 year deal with a view to an extra year if we get promoted.

This is a very risky move considering it would be a transfer valued at £5 million potentially leaving on a free next year. On one hand you could say that this is terrible business but on the other you can say that this shows great ambition from Fulham as they are willing to back themselves to go up this season.
This would ease Rolan into joining the club as he ideally wants to sign for a Premier League side. If he signs this contract he knows that he will either be signing for a Premier League team on a free at the end of the season, or playing for a newly promoted Fulham team.

Diego Rolan would join Aboubakar Kamara and potentially Rui Fonte as another striking option. An area where Fulham have been very light recently.
What do you make of this deal? Is it worth it for Fulham or is it too big of a risk? Discuss in the comments or at
