Royal Ascot 2017 Day 2 Tips

Day one went ok for anyone following my tips with two winners in the first race. Churchill was shown up in a shock. Here are today’s tips as always bet on today’s tips here.

2:30 Jersey stakes

Dream Castle 4/1
Godolphin had a decent day yesterday and I expect that to continue in the first race today. Dream castle was runner up at Newbury earlier this year to Barney Roy that beat Churchill yesterday. And was 5th in the 2000 Guineas. If it puts up its best performance today it has got a great chance

Back this tip here.

3:05 Queen Mary Stakes
Heartache 9/2

Ryan Moore lost on short price favourite in Churchill yesterday and I think he will today as well. Wesley Wards streak in this race  could end today and Heartache could be the one to do it. Had a great first showing in Bath opening up to a 6L lead in the final furlong.

3:40 Duke of Cambridge stakes

Qemah 2/1

Won the coronation stakes here last year and will look to follow up here. Lost over 7 furlongs this year but back up to her favourite 1 mile distance and could put up a good showing here.

4:20 Prince of Wales Stakes

Jack Hobbs 3/1

Shocked a lot of people winning in Dubai in march against brilliant opposition such as Postponed also including the favourite in this race Highland Reel. The shorter trip may favour Highland Reel this time but Jack Hobbs at 3/1 is great value after the win in Dubai.

5:00 Royal Hunt Cup

Banksea 12/1

Won well at Newbury last time out and if it improves on that run could do the same here. Always tough to call in a huge field handicap but Banksea does seem to be improving all the time so could have a great chance of landing at least some each way money here.

5:35 Sandringham Handicap

Rain Goddess

Finished a respectable 5th in the French 1000 guineas. With Ryan Moore and Aiden O’Brien teaming up as well it’s got a great chance in this race. A tough one to call but Rain Goddess is the only one that really stands out for me.
